A Letter
Hey there! So this is going around on Twitter: https://twitter.com/inafried/status/1513201705567105026 and I thought i’d put mine on tumblr.
Dear Trans and Non-binary Youths,
I cannot fully imagine what you must be going through because of bigoted and spoiled brats pretending to be adults. But don’t give up! They say that children are the future and that includes you. You could be our future doctors/artists/farmers/musicians/senators/anything you want to be. Just live your truth and be your authentic self. And if you can’t right now, you can be when you’re an adult. And if anyone says otherwise, give them hell.
In the words of Gravity Falls: Journal 3:
“Stay curious, stay weird, stay kind and don’t tell anyone that you’re not smart or brave or worthy enough.”
You are all amazing and beautiful and loved. No matter what happens next.
